The President of Ireland has congratulated Jessie Buckley following her Oscars win.
She is among a host of people to extend well wishes for the Killarney native who became the first Irish woman to win Best Actress at the Oscars.

President Connolly says Jessie’s historic win is a thoroughly deserved testament not only to her outstanding performance in Hamnet, but to her performances both in film and on stage across her career to date.
