Jessie Buckley has won Best Actress at the Oscars.
The Killarney actor won for her role in Hamnet, in which she played William Shakespeare’s wife Agnes, starring alongside Paul Mescal.
Buckley becomes the first Irish woman to win Best Actress at the Oscars, and it marks a clean sweep of the awards season for her.
The ceremony took place overnight in the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Jessie Buckley said this is her greatest honour.
Celebrations took place in the Arbutus Hotel at a private gathering hosted by the Buckley family in Killarney.
