Planning permission is sought for glamping pods in mid-Kerry.
Palm Investments Ltd is seeking planning permission to build eight glamping pods and a reception building at Callahaniska, Glenbeigh, near Lough Beg.
The company also wants to build a telescope and enclosure for amateur astronomy at the site.

The site is within a Special Area of Conservation, but a Natura Impact Statement with the application, claims the development is small and will have minimal impact on the local environment.
Kerry County Council is due to decide on the application by 8th October.
