Planning is sought for 22 new homes on the outskirts of Tralee town.
Baile Ard Developments Ltd is applying for planning to build a mix of houses and apartments in Cloghers, Ballyard.
The company plans to build 14 semi-detached houses, and eight one-bed apartments, in two separate storey blocks.
The houses are proposed to be a mix of two, three, and four-bed units.
The site is located in between an existing ESB substation and the Beenoskee housing estate, off the Cloghers Road.
In the design statement submitted with the application, the company submits that it seeks to develop a high-quality, medium-density residential development to help serve the growing accommodation requirements of the town.
The company is also offering four of the one-bed units to the council as part of its social housing obligations.
Kerry County Council has said it will decide on the application by 24th June.
