Planning permission has been granted for 85 homes in Kenmare.
Kerry County Council has granted conditional planning permission for the large-scale residential development at The Parsonage, Bell Height, Kenmare.
The approved development will consist of 85 residential units, consisting of 13 terraced houses, 24 semi-detached houses, and four apartment blocks comprising 13 one-bedroom and 35 two-bed units.
The scheme also includes a pre-school, and 168 car parking spaces.
A Natura Impact Statement was submitted as part of the application.
The application, submitted by OFSolutions Ltd, was granted subject to 24 conditions, after attracting 33 submissions to the council’s planning department.
These conditions include restrictions on construction hours, the establishment of a management company, and the provision of social housing units within the development.
