Permission is being sought to extend a north Kerry nursing home.
Riverside Care Centre Ltd has applied to Kerry County Council to renovate the front of the existing building at Milltown, Abbeydorney and build a single storey extension for 14 en-suite bedrooms, office, dining area, lounge and isolation room.

The application also seeks to demolish an existing shed, rebuild a new shed for storage and to install a new waste water treatment unit.

Council planners will decide on the application by July 26th.
