People in Kerry urged to report erratic e-scooter driving to Gardaí

People in Kerry are being urged to report e-scooters being driven erratically to Gardaí.

It follows CHI Temple Street recently saying six children were put on life support following e-scooter related injuries in just two weeks.

According to the RSA, nearly one in four regular e-scooter users have been involved in a collision.

The Kerry Garda Division is reminding the public of the regulations around the vehicle, including it has a maximum speed of 20 km/h, and users must be aged 16 and over.

Garda Chole Fuody says e-scooter users and parents need to know the law around e-scooters.
