Gardaí are looking for a man as part of the investigation into the "violent" death of a woman in Killarney.
43-year-old Jamey Carney's body was found by a family member in her home on the Muckross Road yesterday.
The mother of one was born in New York and had moved to the area with her 13-year-old daughter in around 2021.
Meanwhile, a post-mortem examination due to be carried out on body of Ms Carney.
An Garda Síochána say the results of this will determine the course of the investigation, but they have appealed for anyone with information or dash-cam footage from the area on Monday and Tuesday to contact them.
They're looking for a man known to her, in connection with the incident.
