People are being encouraged to donate blood in North Kerry this week.
The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is running blood clinics on Monday and Tuesday at the Listowel Arms Hotel, from 4:50 to 8:10pm both days.
The IBTS says 2026 has seen a spike in demand for blood, and they are under pressure to maintain supply of all types of blood to Irish hospitals.

People can arrange an appointment for the clinics by calling 1800 222 111.
The IBTS is asking both existing donors and first-time donors to attend these upcoming local clinics.
