People asked to only attend UHK emergency department if absolutely necessary

People are being asked to only attend University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department if absolutely necessary.

Management says there's a high volume of patients presenting to University Hospital Kerry.

They’re urging members of the public to consider alternatives such as their GP or South Doc as there are long delays in the emergency department.

UHK says they're prioritizing all emergency and time-critical care for the sickest patients.
