Gardaí are advising people to avoid the main Tralee to Castlemaine Road.
It's after a one-car collision on the N70 about 10km from Castlemaine.
Two units of the Kerry Fire Service were tasked, and gardaí are on the way to the scene.

It's not believed anyone has suffered serious injuries.
