Passengers urged to allow plenty of time as over 20,000 expected through Kerry Airport over Christmas

Passengers travelling through Kerry Airport over the festive period are being encouraged to allow plenty of time before their flights.

The advice comes as over 20,00 people are expected to fly through the Farranfore airport over Christmas.

Staff at the airport will handle 146 flights between today and December 30th, an over 6% increase in passenger traffic compared to last year.

Security Manager at Kerry Airport, Tom O’Driscoll, has this advise for people travelling through the airport over the Christmas period:

Meanwhile, people dropping off passengers at Kerry Airport, are advised to used the designated area in the short-term car park.

Those staying for extended periods are urged to use the long-term car park.
