Part of N70 to close for over a month for improvement works

Part of the N70 between Sneem and Kenmare is to close for over a month to facilitate improvement works.

The road at Capparoe, Blackwater will close from tomorrow until the 17th of July.

Kerry County Council are undertaking the works to enhance the road surface, driving conditions, and overall safety along this section of the route.

Single lane traffic management measures will be in place for the duration of the works.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the area.

Kerry County Council have said they will ensure the route is cleared and made safe ahead of this year’s Ring of Kerry Cycle on Saturday, 4 July.
