Over €50,000 in funding has been announced for local community education groups in Kerry.
It’s part of over €4.5 million in supports announced by Higher Education Minister, James Lawless.
The funding aims to aid learners’ personal development and build skills, while offering educational opportunities and pathways.
Over 700 community education groups nationally will benefit from the Reach Fund, which will be administered through 16 ETBs.
Kerry ETB has been allocated €52,504 through the Reach Fund by SOLAS.
The funding has been welcomed by Children's Minister and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley, Deputy Michael Cahill and Fine Gael Senator Mike Kennelly.
