Over €21,000 (€21,470) in funding has been allocated to upgrade the playground in Castleisland.
Minister for Children Norma Foley made the announcement under the capital grant scheme for play and recreation.
She says this funding will be used to ensure the playground is inclusive and accessible for all children and young people.

The announcement has been welcomed by Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Deputy Michael Cahill, Inpendent TD Michael Healy-Rae and Fine Gael Senator Mike Kennelly.
