Over €200,000 in funding has been allocated to Kerry under the 2025 Community Monuments Fund.
€106,986.25 has been granted to Killagh Priory in Milltown, while €99,545.90 will go towards Castleisland Castle.
The Community Monuments Fund supports initiatives to conserve, maintain, protect and promote local monuments and historic sites.

Minister for Children, Disability and Equality and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley, fellow Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill and Fine Gael Senator Mike Kennelly have welcomed the announcement.
