Over €2 million in funding has been allocated for the Kerry Education and Training Board.
It’s part of a €39 million package announced by Minister for Further and Higher Education James Lawless and Minister of State for Further Education Marian Harkin.
The money will go towards energy efficiency measures, ongoing capital investment and the provision of specialist equipment.
It’s allocated under the capital and green devolved capital funding stream for 2025 and 2026.
This is in addition to the Green Devolved Grant 2025 and Devolved Capital Grant 2025 that were paid in the first quarter of the year, which brings Kerry ETB’s total this year to €3.04 million.
The funding has been welcomed by Minister Norma Foley, Fianna Fáil TD Michael Cahill, Independent TD Danny Healy-Rae, and Senator Mike Kennelly.
