Over €11 million in funding has been announced for two Kerry projects.
Kerry FC and Valentia Transatlantic Cable are to benefit under the Department of Justice’s Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP).
Kerry FC will receive €5.2 million for facilities developments and upgrades at the League of Ireland teams club grounds.
Valentia Island Transatlantic Cable project has been allocated €6 million to support its work advancing the scientific heritage of the world’s first transatlantic cable.
The funding has been welcomed by Equality Minister Norma Foley, and Deputies Michael Cahill and Danny Healy-Rae.
