Over €100,000 has been allocated to repair the roof of Dingle Courthouse.
€115,000 has been set aside for the West Kerry courthouse, under the Historic Structures Fund announced this week.
The fund aims to conserve, protect, and promote the use of historic buildings in Ireland.
It operates on a match-funding basis, with the owners and custodians of the buildings also to contribute towards the final cost of works.
The funding allocation for Dingle Courthouse has been welcomed by Minister Norma Foley and Kerry TD Michael Cahill.
