Over €100,000 allocated for Kerry under Community Monuments Fund

Over €100,000 (€106,355) has been allocated for Kerry under Community Monuments Fund 2021.

Minister of State for Heritage, Malcom Noonan announced the funds which will support the conservation, maintenance, protection and promotion of monuments and historic sites in Kerry.

Ballinskelligs castle is to receive €77,705, while Castleisland castle has been allocated €21,516 and Cloghane churches will receive €7,134.

The announcement has been welcomed by Minister for Education Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley and Deputy Government Chief Whip Fine Gael TD Brendan Griffin.
