Over 820 drivers in Kerry have been penalised for using a mobile phone while driving this year.
That’s according to figures released to Radio Kerry by the Regional Chief Superintendent for the Southern Garda Region, Colm O’Sullivan.
The data shows more than 300 motorists in the county have been fined for not wearing a seat belt while driving.
Meanwhile, over 1,600 motorists in Kerry have been issued with speeding tickets during 2025.
