Over 81,000 passengers passed through Kerry Airport in the second quarter of this year.
That’s according to figures released from the Central Statistics Office.
The report shows that over 139,000 passengers have gone through the doors of Kerry Airport in the first half of 2025.
Meanwhile, 12 million people traveled through the five main Irish airports between April and June.
According to the CSO 81,167 passengers travelled via Kerry Airport in the second quarter of the year.
This represents a 7.5% increase on the same period last year (when over 75,487 passengers traveled through the Farranfore airport) - and a quarter-on-quarter rise of almost 14%.
Of the passengers passing through Kerry Airport in Q2, just under 40,600 (40,599) were departures, while over 40,500 (40,568) were arrivals.
924 flights were handled by the airport - 462 arrivals and 462 departures.
The most popular route in the second quarter of the year was Dublin, with more than 32,800 (32,857) people making this journey. (15,414 arrivals and 17,445 departures)
London-Luton and London-Stansted were the next most popular routes, while the figures show a number of flights travelled between Kerry and Rome-Fiumicino Airport during the period.
