Over 72,000 passengers passed through Kerry Airport in the first quarter of this year.
That’s according to figures released from the Central Statistics Office.
The report shows that 8.2 million passengers traveled through the five main Irish airports in the first three months of 2025.
According to the CSO, 72,175 passengers travelled via Kerry Airport in the first quarter of the year.
This represents an increase of 1% on the same period last year, when over 71,000 {71,277} passengers travelled through the Farranfore airport, and a quarter-on-quarter drop of 2%.
Over 21,000 (21,052) people travelled through the Farranfore airport in January; just under 24,000 (23,939) did in February; while more than 27,000 (27,184) went through the doors in March.
Of the passengers passing through Kerry Airport, over 37,000 (37,222) were departures, while almost 35,000 (34,953) were arrivals.
704 flights were handled by the airport between January and March - 353 arrivals and 351 departures; an increase of 30 flights quarter-on-quarter.
Dublin was the most popular route in the first quarter of the year for people flying through Kerry, with just under 24,000 (23,970) passengers making this journey. (11,114 arrivals and 12,856 departures).
London-Luton was the second most popular route, with over 23,600 (23,674) passengers, while London-Stansted (10,562 passengers) was the next most travelled route.
Manchester (7,565 passengers), and Frankfurt-Hahn (6,217) made up the top five of trips through Kerry Airport in Q1.
