Over 600 delegates from around the world are due in Tralee for a major conference at MTU Kerry this week.
ISAPA 2025, or the International Symposium of Adapted Physical Activity, will combine five different events between Monday (16th June) and Friday (20th June).
These include the International Symposium on Physical Activity and Visual Impairment or Deafblindness; a trade exhibition for disability sports; a specialist mental health summit; and a policy discussion assessing the commitments made concerning disability-inclusive sport at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
MTU Kerry is a world leader in Adapted Physical Activity (APA).
It was recognised as a special research centre, known as the UNESCO Chair, in 2013 for its work improving opportunities in sport, fitness, and recreation for people with disabilities.
