Over 470 new-build social homes are in the pipeline for Kerry.
That’s according to latest Social Housing Construction Status Report from the Department for Housing.
The Social Housing Construction Status Report provides a detailed overview of new-build activity across local authorities and Approved Housing Bodies nationwide.
It shows there are 476 new-build social homes now in the delivery pipeline for Kerry.
215 homes were under construction across the county as of the fourth quarter of last year, with a further 261 units at design or tender stage.
Minister for Housing James Browne says this level of activity is not just about numbers, it’s about providing secure, high-quality homes that transform people’s lives.
Nationally, more than 22,900 (22,949) new-build social homes are in the delivery process with 9,703 under construction and a further 13,246 units at design or tender stage.
