More than 420 farmers in Kerry are participating in the organic farming scheme.
This scheme provides financial support to farmers to encourage the production of organic foods.
Nationally, over 5,500 farmers are taking part.

That’s according to figures provided by Minister for Agriculture, Martin Heydon following a query from Sinn Féin TD Shónagh Ní Raghallaigh.
