Over 3,500 driving tests were conducted in Kerry in the first five months of 2026.
That’s according to data from the Road Safety Authority (RSA).
More than 1,800 (1,854) driving tests were delivered in Tralee, while almost 1,700 (1,697) took place in Killarney.
The figures show, as of the end of May, over 1,900 (1,926) learner drivers in Kerry were awaiting their driving test.
A further 1,647 drivers were invited to take the test, however, did not uptake the invite and have not rejoined the waiting list since.
There were 95 driving test no-shows in the county, 44 in Killarney, and 51 in Tralee; with the RSA collecting over €8,000 (€8,075) in fees.
