Over 270 community groups and projects in Kerry will benefit from funding which was announced recently.
Kerry County Council has announced allocations under the Community Support Fund, which provides €850,000 to community projects this year.
The Community Support Fund, now in its twelfth year, is partly ring-fenced to target strategic projects all over the county, and co-fund projects which receive grants from other sources.
Among the allocations this year are €13,000 for Christmas in Tralee, €10,000 for the Wander Wild Festival, and €8,000 for the St Patrick’s Festival in Killarney.
