More than 250 fraud related crimes were reported to Gardaí in Kerry last year.
That’s according to crime data released by the Central Statistics Office.
It shows during 2025, 253 incidents of fraud, deception, scams and related offences were reported to the Kerry Garda Division.

This represents a drop of over 26% compared with the previous year, when 345 of such crimes were recorded.
However, in December 2024, Gardaí advised of a backlog in recording potential fraud related incidents by financial institutions.
