Over 2,300 dog licences issued in Kerry in first two months of 2026

Over 2,300 (2,387) dog licences were issued in Kerry in the first two months of this year.

Figures compiled by Kerry County Council, show 5 fines relating to dogs were issued in January and February.

The council also rehomed 20 dogs as of the end during the period.

Last year, the council issued over 13,890 dog licences in Kerry and 78 dogs were rehomed in the county during 2025.
