Over 230 (237) babies were delivered in University Hospital Kerry during the first quarter of this year.
That’s according to HSE figures which cover from January up until the end of March.
The Rotunda Hospital in Dublin had the most deliveries during that time at 2,010, while Tipperary University Hospital had the fewest at 157.
The figures were provided by the HSE and given to Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill following a query from Fine Gael TD Colm Burke.
