Over 21.5m containers returned in Kerry as part of Deposit Return Scheme

Today marks the second anniversary of the Deposit Return Scheme in Ireland.

In Kerry, SuperValu and Centra say they have received over 21,566,077 for web container returns over the past two years.

The two supermarket chains are part of the Musgrave Group, which has the largest number of Deposit Return Scheme locations.

Across Ireland, Musgrave is among the first retailers to reach 500 million container returns.
