Kerry County Council is dealing with over 200 (205) open case files for derelict sites.
That’s according to figures provided at the recent Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD meeting.
78 sites in Kerry are on the derelict sites register, while there are 98 with active engagement.

The figure show in the Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne Municipal District, there are 25 sites on the derelict register.
Meanwhile 45 are deemed as open case files, 16 are listed as active engagement, while a further 28 are deemed section 8 – warning notice.
