Over 2.8 million people visited NPWS managed sites in Kerry in 2025.
That’s according to figures provided by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, as of December 22nd 2025.
The figures provided to Radio Kerry by the NPWS, show there has been a 5% jump in visitors to the sites compared to 2024.
The data is complied by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, based on visitor counters and ticket sales throughout 2025.
Over 1.5 million (1,543,343) people visited Killarney National Park last year.
That’s an increase of 10% on the previous year, when just under 1.4 million sightseers flocked to the park.
Muckross House welcomed more than 965,000 (966,210) visitors through its doors in 2025, a slight reduction of 1.7% on the previous year.
Meanwhile, the data shows over 367,000 (367,303) people visited Killarney House and Gardens in 2025, down slightly on 2024, when more than 369,00 tourists visited the site.
The figures show, overall 2,876,856 visits to NPWS managed destinations in Kerry during 2025, as of December 22nd.
