Over 1,600 Ukrainian pupils enrolled in Kerry schools

Over 1,600 Ukrainian pupils were enrolled in Kerry schools this past academic year (2022/2023).

The majority, just over a thousand (1,039) are in primary schools, while a further 562 are enrolled in secondary schools around the county.

Nationally, over 15,600 Ukrainian children or 88% of all aged 5 to 18 in Ireland are attending schools here.
