There were over 160 people convicted for drug offences in Tralee District Court last year.
That’s according to figures released to Fianna Fáil MEP for Ireland South, Cynthia Ní Mhurchú, under the Freedom of Information Act.
It marks a nine per cent decrease on the 2024 figures for Tralee District Court.
Tralee ranked eighth out of the 32 district courts for the number of people convicted on drug offences in 2025.
Nationally, drug convictions in district courts went up by five per cent; MEP Ní Mhurchú wants stronger penalties for casual drug users.
