Over 141,000 passengers travelled through Kerry Airport in the third quarter of this year.
That’s according to figures released from the Central Statistics Office.
The report shows more than 224,000 passengers have gone through the doors of Kerry Airport in the first nine months of the year.
Meanwhile, over 13.1 million passengers went through the five main Irish airports between July and September.
According to the CSO 141,328 passengers travelled via Kerry Airport in the third quarter of the year.
This represents a 4% increase on the same period last year - when 135,505 passengers traveled through the Farranfore airport - and a quarter-on-quarter rise of 6%.
Of the passengers passing through Kerry Airport in Q3, more than 71,000 (71,027) were departures, while over 70,000 (70,301) were arrivals.
1,054 flights were handled by the airport during the period- 527 arrivals and 527 departures.
The most popular route in the third quarter of the year was Dublin, with more than 35,800 (35,830) people making this journey - 17,953 arrivals and 17,877 departures
London-Luton (34,057) and London-Stansted (21,691) were the next most popular routes.
