Over 13,700 people are on waiting lists for outpatient and inpatient appointments at University Hospital Kerry.
That’s according to figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund for March.
13,702 people were waiting on outpatient and inpatient appointments at University Hospital Kerry, as of the end of March.
There are also another 655 people on the planned procedure list there – these are patients who have had treatment but require additional treatment at UHK at a future date.
These figures from the National Treatment Purchase Fund from the end of January show there were almost 12,200 (12,237) people awaiting outpatients’ appointments at UHK.
11,285 of these are adults, while over 950 (952) are children.
There are more than 1,400 (1,465) people awaiting inpatients’ appointments at UHK, including for endoscopies, as of the end of January.
Meanwhile, 283 people are on the inpatient day case to come in list at the Tralee hospital, and a further 331 people are on the endoscopy to come in list.
