Over 130 hedge cutting advisory notices were issued in the Castleisland-Corca Dhuibhne MD last year.
That’s according to figures provided at the recent Municipal District meeting.
The council investigated 50 observations from members of the public and local reps during 2025, 42 of which required follow up action.
133 21-day day advisory notices were issued; with 100 hedges cut following these notifications.
24 14-day formal notices were sent out during the period; a total of 16 hedges were cut on receipt of these.
Seven hedges within the MD were cut by Kerry County Council following non-compliance last year.
