Over 1,100 (1,189) households in Kerry installed solar panels with Solar PV Scheme grants in 2025.
That’s according to data from the SEAI, which shows this is a 26% rise on the year before.
More than 1,200 (1,252) SEAI home solar grants were awarded in the county last year.

Nationally, over 33,000 (33,048) solar PV scheme grants were awarded.
Briain Kelly of EnergyEfficiency.ie says the figures show a record number of homes installed solar panels in 2025.
