Over 10,000 dog licences issued in Kerry during first three quarters of year

Over 10,000 (10,751) dog licences were issued in Kerry between January and September this year.

Figures compiled by Kerry County Council, show that 42 fines relating to dogs were issued during the same period.

The council also rehomed 60 dogs during the first three quarters of the year.

During the whole of last year, Kerry County Council issued over 15,500 dog licences and rehomed 140 dogs in the county.
