Over 1000 people are on the waiting list for home care in Cork and Kerry.
That's according to a new report for Home & Community Care Ireland.
1018 people are on the waiting list for home care in the two counties, the highest in the country, accounting for 18% of the national waiting list.
Sinn Féin TD for Kerry, Pa Daly, has called on the government urgently address the waiting list, stating that government policies are "failing the people of rural Ireland, and of Kerry in particular".
