One in eight commercial units in Kerry are vacant.
The latest GeoDirectory Commercial Vacancy Rates Report, for the second quarter of the year, shows Kerry’s rate of commercial vacancy has decreased slightly since 2024.
Kerry’s commercial vacancy rate of 12.2% is lower than the national average of 14.6%, and just Meath and Wexford had a lower rate than Kerry.
Within Kerry, Listowel continues to have the highest rate of vacant commercial properties at almost 20%.
Tralee’s rate of commercial vacancy is just behind at almost 19%, while just 11.4% of Killarney’s commercial units are vacant.
