Twice as many homes have commenced in Kerry so far this year, compared to the same period last year.
The latest commencement figures from the Department of Housing show construction commenced on 33 homes in Kerry last month.
15 of these were one-off dwellings, and the other 18 were apartments.

Across January and February this year, 49 homes were commenced in Kerry, which is up from 25 at the same point last year.
16 commencement notices were also filed in Kerry during February, indicating that there may be further development this month.
