North Kerry coastal road closed due to flooding

Kerry County Council says part of the road between Ballyheigue and Ardfert is closed and is impassable due to flooding.
The section of the R551 road closed is around 2 kilometres outside Ballyheigue.
The council and gardaí are asking drivers to use other routes.
