There have been no new deaths from COVID-19, the Health Protection Surveillance Centre has said this evening.

334 additional cases of the virus have been confirmed, bringing the national total to 33,444 as of midnight yesterday (Monday, September 21st).

Of the new cases confirmed this evening, 174 are in Dublin, 34 in Cork, 30 in Kildare, 18 in Donegal, 10 in both Galway and in Louth, six each in Clare, Mayo, Meath, Roscommon and Waterford, five in Limerick, and 23 spread across 11 counties.

There's been no increase in the number of cases in Kerry.

As of midnight Sunday 20th September, there were 368 confirmed cases in this county.

The total number of deaths from COVID-19 in Ireland remains at 1,792.
