Nine Kerry schools will take part in this year’s Pollinator Project.
It’s a nationwide initiative helping students transform their school grounds into pollinator-friendly spaces.
The list of Kerry schools include Alandale House Preschool and Childcare, Budding Explorers, Gaelscoil Naomh Séamas, Kilcummin National School, Lauragh National School, Loughquittane National School, Scally Wags PreSchool, and Sneem National School.

Over 5,000 students nationwide will be trained as pollinator ambassadors, with the winning school to receive the Golden Bee Trophy and a €1,000 biodiversity hamper.
