The newly crowned Kerry Rose says she was delighted to be chosen to represent the county at this year’s festival.

Caoimhe Lynch, a 28-year-old secondary school teacher from Beaufort, has been named as the Kerry Rose ahead of this year’s International Rose of Tralee Festival in August.

She says the support she’s received from the whole county since she was crowned on Saturday night has been fantastic.
