A walk for peace will get underway in Dingle at midday.
The event which is organised by Dingle Business Chamber and Dingle Peninsula Tourism intends to show solidarity with those less fortunate and to reflect on peace and safety enjoyed in this county.
The Fungie statue on Dingle Pier is the meeting point for the community walk for peace which starts at noon.

The five kilometre-walk follows the Slí na Sláinte route.
Dingle Chamber says everyone's welcome to take part.
