New searches are underway this morning following the disappearance of Michael Gaine.
Gardaí confirm they have resumed operations at Carrig East in Kenmare, but say they're not in a position to provide any further information at this time.

Radio Kerry's Jerry O'Sullivan was in Carrig East earlier:

56 year old Michael went missing on March 20th, and the investigation was upgraded to a homicide inquiry in April.
Gardaí have undertaken over 320 formal enquiries, taken almost 130 witness statements, recovered approximately 2,200 hours of CCTV and dash-cam footage and have conducted extensive searches over the past eight weeks.
